cats watery eyes

My daughters cat has reaccuring watery eyes.Weve been using terramyacin(sp)occasionally.Do we need to continuosly need to put it in for an extended time?Shes been using it for several days it clears up but always comes back.He doesnt show any other symptoms of upper respritory infections.Not sure if a internal antibotic are in order....thanks!

If I need an antibiotic for the eyes, I find gentocin ophthalmic drops preferable. Is the cat showing any other symptoms, such as redness, conjunctival swelling , sensitivity to light, etc? If so, you might try Similisan Allergy eyedrops.
