Hi guys I have a 11 years old boxer and my dad died last friday
every since then sassy my dog has been sad and keep waiting by thefront door thinking my dadgoing to come in and what do I do to make sassy happy?

Think of some activities Sassy likes, and do them. It helps to do them on a schedule, so he can learn to count on that. Don't get him too tired. Just happy times.

Dogs learn to adapt, but loss of a family member can be tough on them like it is on us. If it's possible could you bring this pup to a visitation? It may help. Otherwise, just support the dog and try to understand he misses his family too. I'm sorry for your loss.
