Help, my dog ate a birthday cake

I'm a little worried about something my dog did, While I was out of the room, my dog ate a very large portion of my sons birthday cake. It was a yellow cake with a buttercream iceing. the cake was a 1/4 sheet cake. and she ate about 15% of it. will this hurt her? thanks

While all that sugar isn'[t good for a dog, it;s not any worse than it is for a human. Chocolate can be dangerous in large amounts, but you said this was a yellow cake, so there was no chocolate.

Thanks for the info, I've had my eye on her and she has been doing fine. The next day however, she did have neon colored stool LOL.
