cocker spaniel needs help

mrcory22 Jun 08, 2008 10:19 AM

I have a cocker spaniel who was doing fine until yesterday when she started moving very slowly. She just had puppies four weeks ago, what do you think I should do or check before I take her to the vet?

I have gotten two opinions so far. One is that she needs puppy food. The vet advised that I give her science diet puppy food, puppy can food and purina puppy chow. The other opinion is that she needs more calcium. What type or form of calcium should I give her?

Any suggestion will help!!

I would consider this a veterinary emergency.

Get her to the vet ASAP! She may need an injection of calcium from your vet.
