Awesome species of turtle. We're hoping to get some in the near future. Darrell, I have seen a couple of other photos of this species around on the net. But not many and none as good as the ones on the WCT website. However, there is a good photo of C. r. perixantha somewhere on the net.

I expected you guys to get it -- but not quite that fast,
especially with the name change. Tough crowd
I had not seen any of the other photos of C. rubida on the net but then again - its a big net. We also have another one that I have not seen elsewhere --

It's funny, Batagur and I had just been talking about rubida the night before, so that probably had a lot to do with getting it so fast. We have some new pics for you, if you're interested.
