Taste of the Wild

savepitbulls Aug 07, 2008 10:30 AM

I recently fed my dog Taste of the Wild, and I mixed it with some of his older food. He only only the Taste of the Wild kibbles and hardly touched his older food. It's amazing how sensitive dogs' noses are to be able to distinguish food in a bowl. Does anyone else have a picky dog that does that?

Yes, last year when all the recalls were happening I changed my dog's food. I wanted a gradual change to the new food- nope- my dogs only ate the new food and left their old food in the bowls. They still love the new food to this day and they have been doing very well on it thankfully.

Which flavor of Taste of the Wild have you been using? My dog seems to loves all of the flavors.

See now, my dogs actually don't like TotW. Go figure.

As for picking out certain foods.....I run a boarding kennel and dogs are amazing at picking exactly what they want out of their bowls!

Is there a specific flavor, or did they just stop liking TOTW altogether? My dog still loves it, and he gets especially excited when I open a new bag.

I just switched my dogs over to it as Timberwolf just got way to expensive. I like a all natural no-grain food for my guys. The GSP pup picks out the TOW kibble and eats his puppy food last. and my 2 ESS just absolutly love TOW.

I have nice shiny coats and very smart dogs. THanks to the awesome Fish blend.GOtta love those omegas!!
