We have had the dangdest time lately

We are here you guys and I was trying to figure out this board with very little luck and a migraine headache that oops....was lasting too long. Went to the doc and got looked at and got some different meds (mine weren't working) and at the same time here came the floor installation guys and the window measurement people (the floors are in the windows go in soon)

Anywho I was having to miss work and couldn't THINK for beans! So they decided to do an MRI and then said no, an ophthalmic scope to look at my retinas and all that. After they rescheduled the MRI and i had both tests the doctor asked me if i'd had a head injury. I said no but then i said how long ago? Three weeks ago i fell down the deck steps.....

Apparently I was operating with a pretty significant concussion. And my right retina had this little spot where it disconnected from the muscle wall. I spent a few days flat on my back with medication in the eye and the concussion resolved and the retina is resolv "ing" so i'm ok. Meanwhile we have new wood floors that the dogs hate (they go skating a lot on the floors) and we love. We are trying to put the house back together and get all the furniture replaced and throw away some stuff, store some stuff and use this time to reorgaize.

I will at some point put pix up like PJbeaner did when the house is back together, windows are in and we're organized. (give me a month or so) I love you guys, ChooChoo and Chessie are fine, Gizmo and Misty are likewise fine. We're here just not posting a whole lot at the moment.

LOVE FROM OUR HOUSE (in its current chaotic state) to all of your homes.

I'm glad that you and your doctors were able to figure out what was happening. Hope you are back to normal very quickly.

As for the house, it is always insane when that much work is being done.

Good luck. Hope all goes well.

Best wishes.

Pam, Glad that you found what was causing your problems and that they are resolved / resolving. As for the floors.. I am sure that you have or are going to be getting some throw rugs to put in strategic places to prevent serious doggie skating and possible skating injuries. Now.... if you really want to give people something to *watch* and point at you about....(remember... this is just because you love your long legged babies so much and are only concerned for their safety) find the throw rugs that you like..... toss them in the aisle at the store... back up... run toward the rug .... jump on it and see if it slides. If it doesn't, it is a keeper. Plus, when you get really good at this, you get all 10's.
