What's meant by good temperment for Schutzhund?

Very, very stable. Friendly is good, especially when the dog is young. You do not want to raise or teach a dog to be suspicious. The needed amount of alertness should come at the right age, but a dog who is too suspicious of people at a young age is not a good sign.
