Hey, thanks for the welcome back!
I sure have missed you guys. I hope more folks will pop back over. Now I can get my greyhound fix again.
My life has started to settle down some finally. I'm not working until 9-10 pm anymore. Thanks goodness. We finally after OVER 2 years got our contract settled and I'm NOT doing that ever again. (On teachers negotiating team for those that didn't know) That was so stressful I'm still on meds for stress.
On the bad side, my mom is back in the nursing home....maybe to stay. Not sure yet. It would be a relief if my dad agreed for her to stay. Things have gotten to the point where with all dads medical problems and age, he can't take care of her properly. She's fallen 4 times at home in the last month, and the last time she broke her tailbone. This is what put her back in the nursing home for healing.
Other than that, things have finally settled down.
BTW Ginger, I may have a scenthound eventually. If mom and dad can't care for their mini dachshund, I get her.
