My Gilry Girl (long)

Grhndad Oct 06, 2008 06:38 PM

Has done it again. As per normal, I feed them dinner. Well, Miss P decided she didn't want to eat. So far so good. I saw Miss Bea going into the kitchen and a few minutes later come out and the kids wanted to go out. As I walked to the door, I noticed that Miss P's food was gone and I'm pretty sure she didn't eat it.

Prior to me feeding them, Janie made some regular browines and some liver brownies for a gotcha day tomorrow. while the three of them were eating, the regular brownies got done and Janie took them out of the oven and put them on the island to cool. The liver brownies were baking.

The kids came in and I noticed Miss Bea slowed down when she walked by the stove and was looking for the smell that was there. A few minutes later, I started washing up their dishes and while I was doing that Janie took the liver brownies from the oven and placed the pan on top of the stove to cool.

I had put Pansy some more food down and was kinda watching what was going on as good as I could. I saw Miss Bea disappear into the kitchen and I got up to make sure she wasn't in Pansy's food again. When I walked into the kitchen I saw her drop down from the stove. Not really thinking that she would actually get in them, I thought she just moved the baking pan back on the stove because the pan and brownies had just come out of the oven and were Hot. So I really didn't check. I did tell Janie what she had done and didn't think anymore about it.

A few minutes later I walked in and looked. Well my Girly Girl had gotten into the brownies and ate almost a quarter of the pan. But only the top half.

I'm surprised she didn't burn her mouth and or nose. But I know she enjoyed what she had. Made a mess in the pan. But she didn't get any on the stove top or floor.

Me thinks she is coming out of her shell!!!!!!

ROFL!!! This reminds me of the time Jadzia ate about a quarter of a cake I had just taken out of the oven for a birthday party. I had to bake a new cake and left this one at home for us.

Aren't they so much fun in the kitchen!

Dogs and cats come into our lives, and too quickly go leaving pawprints on our hearts, and we will never be quite the same again.

Funny! Thank goodness my dogs have never been counter surfers! Maybe it is because I don't bake them (or Rickie) any treats.

I'm surprised she didn't burn her toes; that pan was hot! Even Vinka left hot stuff alone!
