Little Miss Kylie / Lil Bit ~ the shy little spooky girl that we adopted sight unseen just a little over a year ago has really come out of her shell lately and is truly *finding* herself. She is such a little doll. She has always been close with me ~ from the very first day she came here there were no issues or any fears with me. And now (and I hate to say this, but it has become very obvious that Sadie intimidated Kylie.. but then, Sadie was an old lady who didn't put up with any *poop* from the *youngsters*) so.. now that there is no one to *scare* Kylie (as Ky so aptly put it to Paster Sue at MH.. "there is this *pointy* thing in my face and I don't like it, but I won't retaliate because I don't want to upset the *pointy* thing or Mom" ), the true personality is emerging.. and what a personality it is. I have seen her walk past Dakota or Aimee and grab the stuffie out of their mouth and take off.. then spin around and play bow at them. She actually will play tug of war with them. She no longer feels the need to sleep between us ~ it appears that she felt more secure there. She is becoming comfortable with her Daddy .... will sit next to him and actually put her leg across him in a *hug* and doesn't panic if I leave. Came up to me the other day shivering.. kept nudging me and doing her best to get me to notice that she was COLD ~ and got her sweatshirt on. Then last night.. it had to have been a first ... she noticed that big *thing* at the end of the room that had those people on it... so she walked up to the *people* and tried her best to get one of them to pet her ... even so far as nudging their hands. Precious..... priceless....
