A little story

Grhndad Oct 17, 2008 10:59 AM

Gotta tell this one. Yesterday Janie and I went to PetsMart and bought a new floor pillow for the livingroom. One of the ones we had had died. We got a nice one but it had a different type of covering on it than the ones we had. The old ones had a fleese cover on one side and a chamois type cover on the other. This one has a rough covering on it, both sides. Both Pansy and Bea seem to like it. Maybe because it's new.

Last night Janie and I were in bed reading. I heard what sounded like one of the pups yaking up in the living room. Not just once but several times. I mentioned it to Janie and she thought so also. I immediately thought of Bea and the music maker from the bugle. I got up and went into the living room and turned on the light. There standing like a dear in a spotlight was Miss Bea.
She wasn't throwing up like we thought, she was fluffing up. Standing in the middle of the new pillow fluffing it up so she could sleep the night away.

I turned the light back out and to bed I went and so did Miss Bea. She slept the night away.

Aawww Harry.. how sweet. Another "reminds me of Sadie" story. Sadie was my *digger / fluffer*. She would get a comforter or one of the older *floppy* beds and start digging / fluffing and pretty soon she would have a ball just big enough around to put her head on, but a foot high. She would let out a very disgusted sigh and flop down. If I would turn on the light to see what was going on, she would give me one of her infamous dirty looks. She must have done a crash course because we now have another little digger / fluffer. And Kylie can make as much noise fluffing as Sadie did.
