Sue has lost her Cameo

dmcaprara Oct 19, 2008 07:56 PM

It is with a heavy heart that I inform everyone that Sue has lost her Cameo.

Around midnight, Sue initially posted on the GAA Board that she took Cameo to the E-Vet. Cameo was vomiting up blood and was initially diagnosed by x-ray with a blockage in her intestine. They performed surgery around 3am after rehydrating and stabilizing her.

It turned out to be a torsion and Cameo's intestine was already destroyed. They gave her no hope. The damage was done and irreversible. Poor Sue had no choice but to let her sweet baby go.

Thank God, Sue's mother was with her last evening. I'm sure she would appreciate hearing from this part of her family. She and Music need some prayers and support. I'm sure you all won't let her down.

I know she can count on all of you. Thank you.

OMG.. how horrible for Sue ~ what a devastating thing to have happen to Cameo. I am so sorry. Losing one of our precious pups anytime is so hard, but when they are young and it is something totally unexpected, I think that it is just so much harder for us to accept and to *heal*. God Speed Cameo..
