Our new baby ~ Alex

I am TIRED!! Definite lack of sleep. Yesterday, Friday 1024 at 2:23 we became the proud grandparents of Alexander (Alex) Thomas Scott. He was 7 pounds 3 oz. and 20 inches long. He is fine, he is wonderful!! He was born with the cord wrapped around his neck 2 times. The comment was made that he must have been doing somersaults *in there*. I seem to recall Kim making comments to that effect during the last couple of months.
After being at the hospital with Kim yesterday, we drove to her house and picked up Chico and Haley and brought them home with us. I then got up at 5:15 this morning to go to work, then back up to the hospital once we were able to close the office. Wow.. what a difference in the swelling, etc. And, I met his other Grandpa today and now know who he looks like. ) I will post some pictures tomorrow. Right now I am beat and going to go to bed.
Even though Dakota was a bit disappointed that we didn't bring Alex home, he was happy to see Chico and Haley.... and we did assure him that Alex is busy perfecting his Frisbee tossing.

I'm looking forward to pictures, Gwen. Give Kim a hug from down here...hmmmm will she and Alex be at Gatlinburg along with Jake? Ducking and running really fast!

As for Kota, Chico and Haley, are you really sure you should have the three anxious guys together? They may decide to do a 'rescue visit' to the hospital to spring Kim and Alex.
