That is an absolutely gorgeous snake. A screamer if I ever saw one. I have an oke project I'm working on and they look nothing like her. I might have to come talk to you when she lays. Gorgeous animal!

Is that really an Okeetee? This looks like another one of those animals that has been heavily outcrossed. Just asking..

It sure is a true okeetee ( and actually het.hypo okeetee (sunkissed) ). It´s from Kathy Love, born ´02.

Dude, as far as I know Kathy Love doesn't produce any "pure" Okeetee's. I would be happy to hear from her to state otherwise but I wanted to buy some pure locality animals from her and she couldn't confirm the lineage of any of her Okeetee stock. Not saying she didn't have some years ago but it's all outcrossed now as far as I know. In fact, she referred me to somebody else that she thought might have pure Okeetee's.

I just got a male Okeetee from Kathy Love a couple of weeks ago. What kind of temperment does your snake have? So far, mine has been VERY mean. He constantly rattles his tail and bites. Did yor snake act like this, and if so, did it ever settle down? Thanks.

Yep, my male okeetee ( also from Kathy ) was quite nasty first. He was about 1,5 yrs when I got him. Female was much easier. Now both are quite easy to handle, don´t bite or so.
