hello all. i am a long time member of kingsnake.com, an affiliated site. my wife and i rescued a mated pair of rotties( bruiser and shaka) from the local a.s.p.c.a. in november 2007. tonight we noticed 2 hard masses under shaka's chin, one on each side, about the size of a testicle, just above her collar and below her jaw line. we obviously will be taking her to the vet a.s.a.p. has anyone here seen similar symptoms in their rotties? i'm hoping it's something simple like swollen lymphnodes and not something more serious like tumors. the only real change we've noticed in her behavior is that she seems to be panting more than usual. she still has a healthy appetite and plenty of energy. we've noticed no signs of illness at all.
any info you might be able to share is greatly appreciated!

Lumps and bumps happen to most dogs. It's up to the vets to determine what to do about them. All of the ones on my dogs to date have proven to be no big deal. Let's hope that's the case with your pup as well.
