It looks like either food would be a good choice based on the ratings of each. It would depend on the needs of your dog and if the ingredients would be agreeable to him.

I'd go with Eagle Pack because whole dog journal recommends it.

I already feed Orijen to both my dogs with great success, but Eagle Pack is decent as well. I prefer the higher protein levels in Orijen's food and low carbohydrate levels. If amount of carbs are not an issue for you, you'd save money with Eagle Pack.
