A story

Yeah, another Lexie story.

Earlier this afternoon, I took a break from the TV and went out to pick up poop. All 5 kids went out with me. I got everything taken care of and the 4 big kids were standing at the bottom of the ramp ready to go in. Miss Katie was off in another part of the yard and walking away from me. I asked the kids if they were ready to go in and three of them started up the ramp but not Miss Lexie, Noooo, she went hightailing it out to where Katie was. Ears layed back and hooking it. She ran up to Katie, looked at her and then turned around and ran back and up the ramp with Katie right on her heals.

I guess she told Katie that dad wanted them in and she was making sure that the little one came in.

What good hounds you have......coming back in when you want them to!! Yesterday Tru was out in our garden in the rain for nearly half an hour just messing about. She is a heedless hound, rarely comes when called even with rewards, treats, squeaky toys etc.and as our garden is full of hiding places it is impossible to catch her.

Aaawwww... what a sweetie. It sounds like she doesn't have a clue that she is a foster. Just wait until her *forever* family comes along to really *cherish* her. Of course, due to your diligence in treating her so wonderfully, she will expect nothing less.
