ok so i have my tank set up all nice and pretty
im going to put 2 55 watt power compact 10,000 K lights
so my question is how high should they be above the tank and should i use lots of fans to keep em cool.
and shopuld i have a fan blowing air into the tank

First off, I recommend going with 6500K bulbs. 10M will be too blue unless that is the effect you are going for. If the vivarium is glass top, I would leave about an inch between the bulbs and the glass with one or two 40mm fans keeping the lights and top cool.

As for the inside of the tank, it is personal preference. An intermittent fan will keep the front from fogging up.

I agree with the other post, most people say 10k lights are too much, and too blue. I have had good luck with my 6500k lights.

As for the tank cooling you can look at my webstite below for how I setup my fans. I run very small fans at about 1/2 or less power and only allow a very small amount of the air to go into the tank. It works to keep the glass from fogging, but does not drop the humidity.
