Once again I am trying to get the *multitudes* to migrate over here. I love the people on the AOL message board.. they are like family, but not being able to post new threads or respond to posts is so frustrating that I am saying a fond farewell to that board. I will check this one daily to see if any of the boardies get frustrated enough to come back here. If not, well,I will miss them after 10 years of putting up with AOL's nonsense. Anyone out there?????

I check in about every other day, but, until today it has been several weeks since anybody posted.

I don't post much any more; mostly I lurk. Since my beloved Sarah passed away last spring, I have no more greyhounds. And, because of my own disabilities, the vet has ordered, "NO MORE BIG DOGS!"

That leaves me with Angel the Devildog Whippet who turned 13 on Friday, Jamie the 6 y/o lab/newfie, and Murphy a 5 y/o small curly white ball of noise.

The AOL boardies are like my family so I will go wherever you all go.

It doesn't matter if you have Greyhounds or not... you are still an important part of the "family". BTW, what does your doctor determine to be a large dog? Does he know what docile and "lazy" creatures most Greyhounds are? Heck, Kylie is just a tad over 50 pounds... quite small (tiny / petite) if you stand her next to some of the males.

Gwen, My vet has decided that anything I cannot lift is too big. When Charlie was injured a couple of years ago, I was unable to help him stand and get him to the yard.

But I still need a greyhound! I was on the verge of asking Harry if I could have Lexi, but I think he probably wants to keep her.

I'm here, I'm here!! I haven't been posting on the AOL Board either lately because it always gives me an error message, and I'm sick of it. I still keep reading it, though. But if I want to post anything, THIS is the place to come.

Keeping it greyhound related, Shadow re-injured his right front "wrist" again and now is tripodding around. Hmmmm. Gonna keep a close eye on it. I wish I had some Rimadyl or Deramaxx around.

I read it too, habit I guess... and like an addiction. But most times, like you, I have an error message. So... I will be here. I really like the format here, although I think that I am one of the few who do.

I am usually never one for change, but I happen to really like this format. I like how you can see everyone who posted and the fact that it's listed neatly down and which posts are new. Yup, I'm here to stay. I will still read the other board out of habit (hard to break after 12 years I guess), but with the problems I've encountered trying to post and getting repeated error messages, it's just a waste of my time trying anymore.

I've been swapped with school and trying to find a solution to my MH "issue"... I'll check in once in a while.

Well I'm still here and posting occasionally though I check the board most days. AOL does at least let me post on there mostly now but no guarantees how long that will last!

Yep -- I'm here. Slightly different Screenname, but the same old me. Still reading when I have time at the AOL board, but AOHell is starting to give me problems as well.

Don't have a lot of time on the computer anymore, but try to read occasionally. Good to "see" everyone here.
