Well, the Roo household is still going full tilt! Yesterday GRampa Roo was in the ER with vomiting, abdominal pain, chest pain, lethargy, cold sweats and "diminished capacity". turns out he has an outrageous UTI. To make our day even better, Lizzie lizard lips and Jetta Sue Roo had a run in and Jetta Sue now has two bite wounds one with eight staples the other with 5.....Not an intentional attack just one dog stepping on another.....The "vet" Not my regular one, said it was"not bad" and to take her home and she would give her anitbiotocs...well...Anne & I insisted that she get stapled(preferred), stitched whatever and the woman gave us a hard time finally giving in when I insisted that we leave Jetta there for the morning vet. Imagine my surprise, when I picked up Jetta who looks like "franken dog" with all those staples along the lower ridge of her belly leg area! "Not Bad"??? Hate to see what she considers a "Bad" wound. Neddles to say i was on the phone with the office manager and will be speaking directly to the owner of the practice when she returns from Africa in April. Very strange cause this is the doc that was so very capable at diagnosing my Nickie for the spine tumor. Lots more here but this is the "short version.
So JSR needs prayers for healing and pain...she is very sore from the handling and wound.....also for Anne who feels responsible since she was on "puppy watch"......Life sure does stay interesting at the Roo Ranch......H
