Update on Sharon by Sharon

vinkamom Feb 28, 2009 03:34 PM

Sharon posted this on the AOL Board and said I could post it here.

Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts gang. My cardiac ultra-sound showed a slightly enlarged heart due to hyper tension, but fine otherwise. The nurse hadn't read the ER doctor's intrustions correct, she thought the doctor wanted me to stay until Monday and have the mycardial nuclear scan. When she found out I had one scheduled for Thursday, she said "oh, in that you can go, if you promise to come back if it happens again." They think I had an anxiety attack. (gee I awonder why!) So here I am!

So glad to read this. When I was having chest pains Butch insisted on taking me to the ER, even tho I told him it was related to my digestive system ... and it was. Anyway, at our hospital, you stay overnight for observation and tests no matter what when you go in with chest pain. I had to do a stress test as well. I am glad that the your results show no heart problems. Take care!!

BTW, back to reading but not *writing* on the AOL board.
