Amelia is at Rainbow Bridge

GARYS Mar 12, 2009 08:04 AM

Amelia went to Rainbow Bridge at 8:20 this morning. She had stopped eating a couple of days ago and had lost control of her hind legs. Was only drinking a little water and when she was able to get up she would just sit and stare and then fall down. She was sleeping most of the time. Our hearts are breaking at the lose of our Little Old Lady. She will be missed tremendously.

Eloise and I both want to thank you for you messages of support. They are deeply appreciated.

Gary, I don't have the words to comfort you.
Like the others have said, she had a great home her last years and that is so wonderful.
I am glad you decided to let her sleep at home. As much as it hurt to watch her, she wasn't in pain and she had your love in a familar place.
((hugs)) to you both.
