Update on Jake's Dad ~ OT

Gwensgang Mar 21, 2009 01:25 PM

Kim heard from Greg yesterday that his biopsy was negative for cancer. He won't tell her what his diagnosis is other than to indicate that it is the result of or related to the Hepatitis that he had 3 or 4 years ago. But, he did call her this morning to tell her that he had been back to the ER due to his badly swollen legs ~ had to have more bloodwork done. He says that his levels were off the charts when he was in the hospital.
I wanted to let all of you know that the prayers for him to NOT have cancer worked, and to thank you for the good thoughts and the prayers. I didn't want Jake to have to deal with that right now. Being 10 is hard enough.

I'm glad that the prayers worked and I'm saying some that whatever is causing the problems now is something simple and easily fixed because you're right that being ten is enough to do without other complications.
