Hi all just a quick note Amy went Best of Breed today in
Oklahoma. It was her first time being shown as a special, "finished champion" she did not place in the group, but we wanted to thank Katie for being our cheerleader. It was a special win going over another special and several other class dogs and class bitches.......
Keep your fingers crossed for tomorrow.....please!!

Sorry today we lost to the other special.....sigh
Amy did her part but the judge chose the other one we were Best of Opposite Sex..so we did not get to go to groups....

I am taking Tommie and Amy to Alabama this coming weekend.....
It is a 3 day show. The following weekend I am taking Tommie and Scarlett to Texas for a two day show, but I am going to give Amy a week off...
TY guys for all the nice comments and well wishes...I am really proud of Amy for doing what she did her first weekend as a special....Our National specialty is in mid May and we'll see if Amy gets some breed wins and perhaps a group placement her Dad may let me special her after National's otherwise he'll probably take her home and breed her....she is a bit on the small side and many judges like the specials to be a bit bigger.

Yes I do travel often.....just me and the dogs in my van, we go all over. No John doesn't come along he stays here and tends to the dogs at home and goes to his job. Our schedule works well and John is such a help to me, I couldn't do this without his support.

Denice, showing sure requires a lot of traveling! Do you go alone or does your hubby (forgot his name) go too? Do you drive or fly?
I sure hope all your charges place and win!! You work so hard at it, I would love to see you rewarded for all your efforts.
