I am hereby offically moved to the pet Hobbyist Board. After a less than satisfying discussion with the powers at AOL, i told them to put their services where the sun cannot reach them. They told me that the old Board had not had enough activity in the last six months to warrant keeping it active. When my rebuttal was that it was inactive due to the inability of members to be able to access the Board to post...I was told that was a problem that should have been adressed to Tech support...well, after my un ladylike reply - imagine that coming from me- I also told them that i would tie a quater to my next AOL Bill and throw it off the Bay Bridge and then could say I had lost a good quarter..and from now on I would be using their (AOL) FREE E mail but that i would be paying verizon for the services previously purchased from AOL. They got a tiny bit snippy....their loss trust me.....So here i am folks all of me...H

Glad to see you come over, Helen. This was and can be again, a wonderful board. Mel has been around for a long while and knows greys. A big plus is that you don't have to put up with AOL.

I guess I'm here also. AOL is changing everything again and every time they do, they mess things up worse than ever. They had my acct. so messed up because of them switching to BEBO, that I couldn't even do anything once I signed on. I also had some pretty harsh words for them. It was thier mistake but they said I had to fix it. They can't even fix thier own mistakes. So if they want to take the message boards away, so be it. It's a pretty nice place here so here I am, back again.

Wow I found everyone. Phew!!!! Is this were everyone is now since AOL is decided to be a PITA LOL.

I have been here rfor a while now (again) and can at least post and reply when I desire. I actually prefer the format, you can see what is posted and who has replied and ::::gasp::: you can actually go back more than 30 days and read old posts. Greyt place.. fantastic lady is the moderator (:::waving::: Hi Mel) and more of the AOL gang coming on over. Let's get this board hopping again!!!

First of all, I'll bet that when you get used to this forum, you will like the way that it is set up, and the fact that when you want to post, you actually can. (Bet Mel is smiling to herself if she remembers back to the fit I threw when we thought that AOL was going to close the boards down a long time ago and we all went to VIN and loved it) Anyway, sorry that Aimee made you weepy.
