Greyhound Group Walk - Pic

Luv2LD Apr 03, 2009 12:44 AM

A few of us from GFFL have started a walking group...we've been getting together once a month and going to different locations. Last Saturday we walked/hiked at a preserve in Palo Alto. We shared the trails with walkers/joggers, bikers and horses! The dogs were not impressed with the horses! Here's a picture taken somewhere on the trail (I'm the one in the green t-shirt. Unfortunately, some of the dogs were not interested in having their pictures taken!

Looks like a grand place for a group walk and the weather seems to have been kind to you also. Hope you have many more happy times together.

What fun to be able to join others and take group walks like this. It would have been nice to have had something like this when I had greys. With three though, it often felt like a group walk. LOL

Harry, no thank you! 3 was more than enough. I want greys again someday, but I really think 2 is enough.

Sounds like a wonderful way to enjoy your Greyhound friends, your Greyhounds and the beautiful weather. And Harry, try walking 5 Greyhounds with one Dal who forgot all of her obediance training and would wind her way between all of the dogs, under the dogs, and tie knots in the leashes. Even now when I walk 3 of the 4 I spend a lot of time turning and untangling. Gotta get out the 3 dog leash and see if that helps.
