Don't know how many of you know, If any, but there may be a lost grey down here in our area. A grey by the name of Abby was being transported in a hauler from OK to Daytona, FL. She is 20 mts old and hasn't run her first race.
During the trip the hauler stopped off at a truck stop about 5 miles from the house and was there about 1/2 hours, this was Sunday early evening. Later he stopped at another truck stop just before Mobile, AL and continued on to Lee, FL. At Lee he discovered her missing.
I found out about it from some emails and from Lynne. After gathering more information Janie and I drove up to the Truck stop and put out some flyers. Last night we talked to a lady from SGA in Fl and got more information. The driver is pretty sure she got out here. Abby is thunderphobic and when they were stopped there was major thunderstorms in the area with rain at 2" an hour. Abby broke out of her crate and out the ventilation louvers on the trailer.
This morning Janie and I put out more flyers, Did a search of the area with Pansy and Bea, Put a spot on the top rated radio station and contacted all of the shelters in the area. There has been no sightings at all.
What makes it so bad is she may or may not even be in this area.
This little girl can use some prayers.
