Thanks for the Shiba fix Bill! I had to chuckle at the number of fair weather owners and their dogs who were there for this one after all of you winter diehards stuck it out in the cold weather! lol

Bob -

How true it was about the "fair weather" people.
I think there were more people in the dog run than dogs this time.

I love seeing all those Shiba smiles - Definitely Doggy Paradise!!!!!

*I also love how you have an enclosed place for your precious pups to run in - they are so free...living in the moment and loving life!
This is something that is very interesting to me - when we meet we must have our
dogs leashed, and many people bring their own enclosed area for their shibas to
get some free time, away from all the stimulation ..... Do you ever have to deal w/dog aggression? If so, how is it handled?

Believe it or not in the two years that Patrick and I have been attending these meetups there has never been a major fight. Yes once it a while a human will break up some rough dog play but overall the dogs great along great. For example, yesterday a shiba and a bassit hound got into it a little to much. I grabbed one dog by the collar, another person grabbed the other dog and seperated them. When we let them go, they went to go play with different dogs and never even went back after each other again.

I have to say....I love watching your video of all those pups having the time of their lives!!!

I also have to say that I envy anyone who has cool weather at this moment....It was 98
degrees today, and poor Beni and Kari were feeling the effect of the heat with their beautiful fur coats on...As you know "The Grass Is Always Greener On The Other Side"
(Unless you have dogs)....Enjoy your evening!
