Oh wow, Dee that's quite a difference. I can see a big difference here as well....especially with the trees. It seems like only a few days ago there were no leaves on the trees and now all of a sudden, they're loaded with leaves. My Rhododendron in the front yard has a few buds on it but not as many as I would like. I probably should have put some fertilizer on it.

WOW, a makeover, ha. Spring has come! LOVELY!!!!!

I think spring has finally decided to stay here in CT for more than a day at a time, Sally. While it's not as warm as I would like to see it, it's better than all the rain we've been having. I can even see some tiny new grass appearing in the spots I sprinkled with grass seed a week or so ago on my front lawn. The salt I sprinkled on the ice this winter apparently killed the grass that was there. I also have all the soil prepared for my flowers but think I'll wait a few more weeks before I put any in. Katie is still waiting for her first trip to the park.

Mary Lou, do you have to drive to the park or is it in walking distance? When Diana lived in Nova Scotia, there was a park she took Beinn & Bhreagh to every day, but she had to drive to it. It was about 5 minutes from her house. She called it the Duck Pond. Maybe you remember her taking pictures there and all... I really enjoyed going to it when I visited her there
Her dogs would jump out the car and start on their little adventure. It amazed me that they were off leash and were so obedient! Never ran away or too far from us as we walked.

Yes, I remember Diana telling about taking Beinn and Bhreagh to the park. We have about five parks in my town, Phyl...some bigger than others. There is one that I often take Katie to which is about a five minute drive away. This is where we usually see the Canada Geese when they're migrating. It doesn't look like it's going to be a visiting the park week this week with rain in our forecast for every day.
. Hopefully, they'll be wrong on the forecast. We don't really need anymore rain.

ML, I hope you get some relief from the rain soon! It is supposed to be the same down here too. We have had a couple of hours of sun each day, but then showers in the afternoon and early evening. It is foggy here this morning.
I hope Denice did well at the shows and didn't run into any bad weather over the weekend!

Phyl, I think this rainy system is coming up to us from the South. It's not raining now but it looks like it's going to pour at any moment. No bath for Katie again today I'm afraid. She'll be delighted to hear this. LOL

I forgot to mention that Katie said to me yesterday that if this rain doesn't stop soon, we'll be floating down the CT River on a raft. LOL

Oh that is funny I am glad we are on high ground it has been raining here now for a week and no sign of it stopping.
Everything is so squishy...I need some sunshine or my strawberries are going to rot before they get red...I have about 100 small green berries out there just waiting for the sun to turn them red.....I noticed a few small red berries on the Nanking cherry bush today, and the dwarf pear is looking good. The Arapaho blackberry bush is starting to form hard green berries too....yummy I can't wait to eat home grown berries....I have some low fat pound cake and cool whip in the freezer and I am ready to whip it out as soon as I get fruit...

It seems to be raining everywhere, Denice. It didn't rain today but we didn't see any sun either. They have sun in our forecast for the next five days along with showers...figure that one out. LOL Guess they're covering all their bases. I hope you get some sun soon so you can start enjoying all those delicious berries.

Katie, I hate to tell you, but the sun will shine again and she will make you take a bath before too long! LOL She looks so cute standing in the tub!

Well, no bath today, Phyl. It looks like it's going to pour rain at any moment. This weather is getting old real fast. They say that we may get a peek at the sun tomorrow. I think that they're saying that just to make us happy. LOL I'll believe it when I see it.

Our grass is getting so long, it's going to be a struggle to cut it when it finally stops raining. Tomorrow they say will be clear but start again the next day. Don't know if it will be dry enough in that short time. It's pouring out right now.

Dee, it looks like many areas got a lot of rain. Our rain finally stopped but it still doesn't look very promising out right now. It's also too wet to mow. Hopefully, we'll get some sun and dry it out a bit.
