Bill great fun as always. I see a little snarking was going on but the smiles were big towards the end. I notice most if not all of the dogs wear a harness. Is this a personal choice for everyone or is it a prerequisite of the park for the dogs to wear a harness vs. collars?

Bob -

The harness is by choice by the owners. Shibas down here are very good at "backing" out of thier collars when they go for a walk. Hence many shiba owners down here (including myself) prefer using a harness on thier dog in place of a collar.

Bill thanks... that is kind of wht I thought. I have harnesses for all three of mine that I used when I went to the Meet n Greet in Boston back in 2005. Mostly I have used the martingale collar... none of mine have been able to back out of it... but I suppose anything is possible!

So many different shapes, sizes, and temperaments! Very cute! Nice to see so many shibas in one place.

Yes there was a very good turnout for this meetup. I counted twenty shibas running around.

Your videos always make me smile....I can now get ready for a restful evening knowing that many shibas throughout our country are content, happy, and tired!

P.S. Took Kari back to the vet today - after 2 weeks of meds she still has the tick disease.....she needs to continue her meds for 2 more weeks, and then go in for another blood test....she's as jaunty as ever, and I'm sure everything will work out!

Have a great evening, and wonderful week.....

I'm glad that Kari is feeling good, despite having an infection. She doesn't worry because she knows you are there for her!

Yep, Mom's are there to watch over us!
