Finally.....

Skaket May 16, 2009 08:21 PM

Well, we finally got two nice days in a row so off to the tub went Katie for her bath. I've been going to give her one for the last two weeks but we couldn't seem to put two nice days together. She's sooooo good for both her bath and trim, it's an easy job for me. Let's hope that the nice weather will last for at least a few more days. LOL

Well, I am happy you have good days and could bathe Miss Katie.

I have GREAT NEWS!!! WE HAVE RAIN TONIGHT! We are so happy. The Live Oaks here in S. Texas are under terrible stress, some are dying. I hope most can recover. BAD drought.

Fred put fertilizer on the lawn this evening. YIPPEE!

Well, the nice weather didn't last very long here, Sally. The rainy pattern has returned. I think we must have stolen all the rain that you folks haven't been getting in Texas. Glad that you folks got some much needed rain. If I could, I'd be very happy to send you our share of rain.

Yes, I think you have taken some of our rain, ha. Sorry you are getting wet again. We are dry yet again. Pretty weather. Cooler and drier!

We took Trudy for a long walk this morning. Usually, it is too hot even early to walk for long.

We then drove to eat lunch and put the top down on my New Beetle. Wonderful day!

Ayla is so funny because she will know when she is due for a bath and will not come into the bathroom when I am showering or will run out when I am done.

It has gotten colder here. We had a freeze warning for tonight. I hope not, some of my seeds are coming up.

Speaking of which, my two cats seem to think my one zuchinni hill is their new pottie. I tried putting hot pepper and black pepper all around but they are still using it. I found the seeds laying out, already germating. I also found one seed in the cat's litter box in the barn. Must have stuck to her butt.

It is out in the open, on the last tier of my flower garden so I can't fence it in.

Dee, Katie use to hide all the time if I gave any hint at all that a bath was in the offing. Her favorite place to hide was in a suitcase under a bed in one of the bedrooms so I always looked there first. Heck, she use to try and hide on me once I got her in the bathroom. Now, I just pick her up and up and up the stairs we go right to the tub. She very good though once I get her in the tub.

Our weather has been crazy here. We haven't had three sunny days in a ros in a long time. Heck,we're lucky to get two days. They're telling us that it will be 70 tomorrow. I'll believe it when I feel it. LOL

Hey, the cats are just putting a little extra fertilizer around the zuchinni to make them grow faster or maybe they think it will grow better in their litter box. LOL I love that picture of the horse in the middle of the garden.
