Holiday and Fireworks

My dogs don't mind them much. If there is a big boom they might look around to see what happened. I have one cat that runs for the hills, but the others just go with the flow. LOL

How about your guys?

Ayla, thank goodness is fine. Even for thunder. When there is one that's really loud, she will jump and look around but that's about it.

I used to work in a shelter and we would get alot of dogs around July 4th. I finially figured it was people who didn't want their dogs to destroy their homes so they would have a friend call that they found a dog and get free board for a couple of days... that is until they got their ticket for no license and dog running loose.
Some other dogs would get loose and keep trying to run away from the boom booms. Poor things.

Trudy doesn't really hear fireworks. You cannot have them in our city. She hates thunder though. I don't like loud fireworks if that counts, ha.

I always feel so sorry for them. They don't understand and you can't explain to them, that fireworks sounds won't hurt them.

Fireworks use to bother Katie as a pup but she handles them very well now.

Both thunder and fireworks make Becker and Tootles scared. The first BOOM and they are up in our laps. Poor guys! We only live a block from where the fireworks are set off so we get the full force of them. For me the louder and more earth shaking the better.

Katie hated thunder as a pup but she's gotten use to it and it doesn't seem to bother her at all now.
