Hi Denise,

Never heard of a Phoebe, that is sad.
The baby Bluebird are still in the backyard, hope a cat does not come along.

That is so sad, Denice. I'm kind of glad that the Robin's nest was knocked down by a storm before moma Robin had her young ones. It looked like a very secure area too but we've had so many strong rain storms.

Oh Diana, they must have been fun to watch. I had a male robin building a nest on a bush outside my window near my computer. He worked so hard on it and then we had a very bad rain storm and much of it was destroyed. He never return. Hopefully, he built another nest in a different location.

I loved your picture.

They are fun, and were still in the yard today looking for handouts LOL..
I love the Robins as well, but they do not come around very often, I think they stick to the worms.

Di,

I have not seen a Blue Bird in our neck of the woods in ages. Nor any Gold Finches. Think you are correct about the Robins. We have Cardinals, Doves, Blue Jays, English Sparrows and the nasty old Grackles and Starlings which we feed but the Robins never partake. They stick mostly to the worms and our yard is full of worms.

Hi Gary,
Hope you and Eloise are well, and the babies.
I have lots of Gold finches, Cardinal, Tit Mouse, Chickedees and occassionally the Blue Jay and of couse tons of black birds and starlings they would eat you out of house and home.
The birds have become a pass time, I love to watch them.

Di,

We are about as well as we are going to be. Both the babies are doing pretty good.. Losing weight on their diet of veggies and dogfood. Tootles is going to get her neck wrung if she doesn't stop barking. The older she gets the worse she gets. She can be sound asleep and wake up and run to the door and start barking and there will be nothing there.

Besides the birds we have racoon, possum, groundhog, rabbit, squirrel, skunk, illegals and the occasional deer. Kind of like a zoo around here.

What a sweet birdie pic. Also, Beinn looks precious.

I have three bird feeders I fill each day. LOVE birds. I also have my birdie inside.

I think that you're probably right. Diana but I have had Robins at my feeder but perhaps they were looking for worms.
