Hello,
This is my first post and am glad to have found this site.

I was reading on the Pit Ban because I have found a sweet young girl at a shelter, and they feel she would fit in nicely with our family. But, because of the ban, we don't want to go ahead if we wouldn't be allowed to go ahead.
I live in Ontario, but the dog is in Quebec. (8 mins over the border) Would another shelter be allowed to "adopt" her and bring into Ontario? Or is no Pit allowed in Ontario no matter what the circumstance?

It saddens me to think this might not work.
