I took Trudy for her walk this morning and Lindsey the Yorkie was walking. Usually, Lindsey barks and is too outgoing for Trudy. But, now she is calm and they are becoming friends. So nice. Trudy has two other friends, but we all don't always go out at the same time, so this gives Trudy a chance to see more buddies.

I need to take a camera next time.

Trudy had a bath today, all clean and sweet smelling.

That is so nice that Trudy has a new buddy. Sally. They tend to get use to each other's ways and adjust. Katie and her buddy, Benji walk together all the time. Please do take a camera. I'd love to see the two of them on their walk.

Katie also had a bath and ever since I gave it to her we've had mostly rainy days. I can almost hear her saying to me, "I told you that if you gave me a bath, it would rain. " LOL

That's nice. I'm over protective of Ayla because of her eyes so she is sheilded from other dogs.

At the vets office today, there was a chihuahua/terrior mixed that was smaller then her sitting on the owners lap and Ayla tried to reach over to see her. That was very unusual for her.

Time before that, a large yellow lab was allowed to pull the leash to come over as I'm jumping up with Ayla in her bag going, "Hey, hey, hey" The woman didn't even realize it. Uhh, where did you think your dog was going? Then, then the dog is suddenly in front of me again because the woman gave the dog (who was told to lose 20 pounds... the dog, not the woman) to her little, about 8 year old daughter.

I said to the tech that I don't understand people, most dogs are at the vet because they are sick and people allow their dogs to visit in the office. I remember once when I worked for a vet, pulled one dog away before it reached the other saying, "That dog has mange" The mangey owner said it wasn't contagous... I said "to people not dogs" Clueless...

Oh, sorry Sally, so nice Trudy has another friend.

Sally, how sweet that Trudy & you have a new friend. I'm glad the little dog calmed down enough for them to walk together.
You are to be commended for walking Trudy in the hot & humid weather. I just cannot bring myself to do that
