A bad day got worse

Grhndad Jun 22, 2009 11:40 AM

Week before last we posted about Miss Lexie limping and her vet visit. Last Thursday she started limping again and this morning she went to the vet for X-rays. It's the worse. She has early stages of Osceo. Not sure which direction we're going with this. But due to her age (8) we're looking at pain management right now. The doc is not in favor of amputation and/or chemo based on his experience. I tned to agree at this point. If you would please keep this sweet little girl in your thoughts and prayers.

I will definitely be keeping you all in my thoughts as I have been for the past several weeks. I'm sorry that the diagnosis is OSA......Maybe being in the early stages, though, you will be able to maintain a better hold on her pain and be able to manage it well.

OMG Harry,
I am so sorry. I guess all I have to say is that I am so glad that she has known love with the Bristers. The very best kind of love that she could ahve shared. I have to agree with you on the pain management.. that and lots of continuing love. Hugs to you, Janie, Sharon and of course your sweet precious little *foster* girl.
