Thanks, Cheryl. I made that picture a few years ago. I almost forgot that I had it. It's been very quiet around here so far tonight. I guess some of the surrounding towns are having their firewoks tonight and some tomorrow night. I hope I'll be able to see some of them. Katie could care less. LOL

Happy Fourth to everyone. It was pretty nice here yesterday but has rained off and on all day today. So they cancelled the fireworks until tomorrow evening. All kinds of personal fireworks going off scaring the pups. Now we will have them again tomorrow along with the big Boomers. 
These two hate them. They never bothered old Boomer.

Well, I didn't see any live fireworks last night. Usually, I'll see a few but not this year. I did watch the show from Boston with the Bostom Pops Orchestra and that was spectacular as always.

We had visitors this weekend. My son and his fiancee' came to visit. One eve, Fred's parents drove down for bbq. All of the visitors are gone now. Trudy had a great time!

I usually hear quite a few fireworks in the neigborhood but nothing this year. The city of Hartford usually has a big fireworks display as well but they didn't either. It must have been one of the cuts in their budget, In fact, I didn't see any from neighboring towns.
