New Foster

hlpnhounds Jul 08, 2009 06:56 AM

We have a new foster coming to our home this week. Apparently, our group is getting 10 dogs from Dairyland this weekend and need to make room for them so.....
I think I am getting a little black girl named "Bitsy". Unfortunately, she is not adopted yet so I will be hoping that there is an interested party soon. We all know how difficult it is to let them move on once they've stayed put in your home for a while.....I've been out of the foster circle for a while. It will be nice to be back in the swing again !

Good luck, Lori. Hope she finds a home quickly. We're out of the fostering business having failed 2 of the three attempts.

Congratulations, there's nothing like a little black girl. Hope you have more luck at finding her a new home quickly though than we have had with our brindle foster hound Benny who has been with us for 8 months now. Good luck and enjoy the time she spends with you!

Dogs and cats come into our lives, and too quickly go leaving pawprints on our hearts, and we will never be quite the same again.

Greyt! I hope she is adopted quickly, as Harry said our fostering history is a little spotty but we still encourage other people to do it.

It is so hard to let them go. If they stay pass 2 months I am a goner. By that time they think they are home. Good luck placing her soon.
