Miss Lexie (update)

Grhndad Jul 10, 2009 02:58 PM

Miss Lexie is back from the vets office. The cancer has increased in size (almost doubled in size). So we know it's going to get worse. Her chest X-rays were clear. She is now on Tramadol 150 mg, every 8 hours. Hopefull this will take care of her pain. The doc doesn't want her to go out with the other kids because she will want to run and he doesn't want her to do that. So we'll be leash walking her in the yard.

The doc is so concerned that he gave us his private cell phone number if we need to call.

Don't know how much time we have left with this little sweetheart.

Adopting one greyhound will not change the world, but the world will change for that one greyhound.

So very sorry that the news isn't better. I know you will make the very best of the time you have left with her though. Take lots of happy pics and make lots of lovely memories which will help you through in times to come and one day make you smile again.

Dogs and cats come into our lives, and too quickly go leaving pawprints on our hearts, and we will never be quite the same again.
