loose teeth

missjessie Jul 11, 2009 09:06 PM

Hello,
i have a 5year old healthy and very happy male Shi-Bi. When he was a pup his adult K9s (fangs) grew in next to his baby ones (not from under pushing the baby ones out). This cause crowding and made the teeth a little crooked. I was told by the vet it wouldn't be a problem. Now i have noticed in the past two days that i am able to wiggle two teeth. Almost like they are loose and maybe going to fall out. He is going to be seeing the vet but i need any information i can to both ease my mind and know what we're dealing with here. I am a little worried.
thanks for any advice
jessie

If it were my dog I would get a second opinion and make an appointment with a Dog dental specialist. Something doesn't sound quite right.
