As I said, it is so hot, I really can't walk Trudy right now. No working in the yard, etc. Last night Fred took Trudy for a walk, it had been several weeks. She was so excited. He took her in the evening, was getting dark when they got home. SO sweet. I'm sure he will be doing it more. Just hard since he works late a lot and is tired and ready to help me make dinner and then relax.

He does give her LONG LONG belly rubs every night too. Daddy's girl.

Here are pics. I took. I was in my jammies on the front porch. Trudy and Fred arriving home. Then the flag and caladiums as I waited for them.

Gorgeous pictures, Sally. Glad hubby was able to take Trudy for a walk. We went from what seemed like weeks of rain to sunny hot weather here. I finally gave Katie a bath and trim today so I hopo the sunshine hangs around for at least a few days.

awww, so sweet.
ayla was lost the first week of my wrist. last night she didn't sleep with me on the couch which was strange. i got up in the middle of the night and she wasn't in any of her beds. she was sitting at the bottom of the steps, looking up. i think she misses sleeping with daddy too.

I tried getting Katie to sleep on my bed again but she still doesn't want to. LOL She starts out in her bed but in the morning, she's usually on the scatter rug. Perhaps the bed gets too hot for her.

I am too, Phyl. We had another beautiful day today. With a couple of more sunny days perhaps the grass will dry up a bit. Everyone's lawn looks just gorgeous. It's keeping the folks who mow lawns busy.
