Did you know, well Denice probably did, that ShihTzu coat grows just like humans? I was watching I think it was Animal Planet, and the ShihTzu breed was featured. They said ShihTzu coats will grown forever, just like people. So keep those clippers handy people. LOL

No, I didn't know that, Cheryl. I know that it appears to grow quickly. It seems like I'm alwasys giving Katie a trim. She got a real short cut after her bath this week. It's been so wet around here from all the rain that I thought it best to cut it short.

Tootles must be the exception to the rule. Her skirt grew to the floor and grew no more. She has never had a full trim only her behind, her feet across her nose and the top of her head have been trimmed. Otherwise she just requires a brushing out. Now Becker's hair I think would grow forever if you didn't trim it. Siblings and different as daylight and dark.
