To Keiko and Beni! July 14th marked Keiko's 7th gotcha day with me and July 13th was Beni's 6th gotcha day. Keiko was a stray living in Brooklyn before he came to live with me. Through an extraordinary set of circumstances it turned out my friend Teri was the one who rescued him from Brooklyn CACC. Beni I adopted when my rescue/breeder contact was misdiagnosed with bone cancer and her own dogs had to go into rescue.

I'm a little late getting this posted. Beni has been having some issues with his vision that I've been trying to work through. I'm taking him to Cornell today... 2 weeks before his next appointment. I'll more about things when I get there.

Very Happy Gotcha Days, Beni and Keiko! It's not just one day, you know, you can stretch the celebration out for a whole week, or more!

Bob, my thoughts are with you and Beni today. I hope this is nothing serious.
