mouth problem..............

why does my snake keep opening his mouth and makingn aierd noise.im really conserned because some body on this site told me he was gasping for oxygen because she was about to shed.she shedded yesterday and she is still opening her mouth a little and makes a wierd noise.please help!Im very worried!

Did you check the head skin to make sure none was retained? If completely shed and she still gapes, then perhaps she may be in early resp infection. At this point if she'll still feed you're in good shape. Make sure she has access to the low 90's (belly heat). Raising the temp a little may nip this in the bud. If she doesn't feed, particularly on a live food item offered in the evening, then she should be looked at by a herp vet.

the ball python now has his noise wet.he isnt much active either but maybe thats just the way he is.I just wanna know what is wrong with him.And I wanna know if theres any way to help it because i dont wanna take her to the vet and then she dies on me.
