lost another seahorse

deetu Jul 19, 2009 09:15 PM

my orginal girl was acting drunk, bobbing around but still eating. put her in hospital tank, ate well, then just stopped and hid. it was like she lost her will and she was gone

she was such a caracter, dancing to be fed, dancing to get attention. it's hard to remember that they really are fish.

i'm gonna miss her

I am so sorry. I agree, she was beautiful. She does sound like a character. How many do you have now?

Wouldn't that be fun! Have your seahorses had seababies before?

they had four or five births but i didn't want to raise babies then so i gave them away. then i decided to try, got all the stuff i needed and they stopped having them. you have to feed them just hatched baby brine shrimp. then chopped food...this is where most people lose babies. i didn't want to see any die...
