Getting out the raft....

Skaket Jul 21, 2009 12:50 PM

We've had a lot of rain lately but I can't remember when it rained so hard for so long as it has today. I guess I got spoiled with the one nice day we had yesterday. The puddle at my front entrance is so big that even I can jump over it. Going out the garage isn't much better since the floor of that has puddles even bigger than the one at the front entrance. LOL Oh well, it can't rain forever.....can it?

yea, same here.
my husband was going to cut the grass but heard it was going to be nice today so waited. don't know why since he has to work tonight and would have been wiped.

my sister is in texas and said it is terrible by her.
at another site, a woman is selling her goats because there is nothing there. she had pictures of last year where her property looked like a jungle and this year that looks like a desert.
i know i was worried about hay because there wasn't enough dry days for them to cut and bale it. we'll see by august how it is. i haven't had to feed them hay this year because of all the growth. saving me money.

it was actually weird yesterday because it was a summer day and i wasn't used to it. good for me with this cast...not over heating.

I thought that you might be in the same weather pattern, Dee. You get it first and then it comes my way. We had a gorgeous day yesterday but we have a problem putting three or more of them together. If you get anymore bad weather, please steer it in another direction. LOL

I wish you could give us some rain. Houston is hogging our rain as usual! We are still in a terrible drought.

I'd be more than happy to give you a lot of my rain, Sally. Sorry to hear that you folks are badly in need of rain. We have a gorgeous day today....hope we can get a matching one tomorrow but who knows. We have to take what we get.

Mary Lou,

Remember Noah? I'll bet that is what he thought. It has rained here all day. Supposed to have possible showers thru Sat.

I think that you're right about Noah, Gary. We had a gorgeous day here today but God forbid it should remain that way. It's raining again tonight.

ML, you are in for it again!! I saw on the news where tropical moisture is streaming up to New England. Geepers! Will you guys ever dry out??

The tropical storm has arrived, Phyl and it's raining again. I think Katie is continuing to pray for all this rain so she doesn't get her bath. LOL
