hi all.
i had my doctor's visit today. third week of having cast on. x-rays showed my wrist is healing fine. even the bone fragment
got grafted back into bone with the healing, which was perfect. no surgery for that either. God is good.

doctor said that it would probably be okay to put me in a half cast but i asked him if it would be better if i waited another week. don't get me wrong, i hate this thing but if he said no problem, half cast, i would have said cut away. he said it would be better and wouldn't cause any problems if we waited so i am still in a full cast.

doctor said i was unusual to be willing to wait but it also hasn't been hot enough for me to be saying, "take it off, take it off..."

Oh, that's wonderful news, Dee! So glad things are going so well with you concerning the wrist. Perhaps it's wise to remain with the full cast just to be on the safe side. I guess the cooler weather has been good for you. I can imagine that those casts can be very uncomfortable should the temps. go way up.

We finally had a beautiful day today That's all we've been getting lately though.....one beautiful day and two rainy days. I hope the pattern is changing. I'm blaming it on Katie since she probably is praying for the rain knowing that she's due for a bath. LOL

they said movability would be better but i don't think enough for gingerbread work. i have a hard time trying to do it with two good hands as it is... especially if it is humid out.

I'm so glad the healing is going well! Good idea to leave the big one on to make sure all is well if it doesn't bother you too much.
