Well, I was all set to give Katie a bath today with a wonderful prediction for the weather. When I awakened this morning, it was gogeous with the sun shining brightly. Within an hour, it clouded up and the rain started to come down. I could almost see the smile on Katie's face. LOL Oh well, there is alwyas tomorrow. I'm not planning on it but if it looks like it's going to be a nice days when we get up, into the tub she goes. L)

Well, our forecast for tomorrow is partly cloudy, Gary. I'll believe it when I see it. We just can't seem to put two nice days together lately.

I'm tired of the rain as well. I had to cut the grass 3 times, between rains, the week before last it grew so fast from the rain. As I key this I am waiting for it to dry out some then will hit it again as it is supposed to rain later today.

I hear what you're saying, Gary. I thought the growth of the grass would slow down a bit with no sun but guess not. The gentleman who mows my lawn told me that short grass gows faster than longer grass....don't know if that's true or not. Some areas of my front lawn seem to grow faster than the other areas but I think that's because more water can settle in these areas and they get more sun. Sometimes I use my electric mower to do these areas in between mowings. LOL

Well, Katie's luck rain our with a beautiful, sunny day today and she got a bath and I'm in the process of giving her a trim. Another fifteen minutes or so and I should be finished. She'll be ready for a nap by then,

Dee, I agree with the weird weather. We awakened to a gorgeous, beautiful, sunny day so I said to myself....a perfect day for Katie's bath. About five o'clock this evening it got so dark I could hardly see across the street. I've seen heavy rain come down but this topped the cake. It rained so hard that I could have floated myself down the driveway. LOL The thunder and lightening were terrible.Katie was displaying her thunder storm look most of the evening. I had to blockade the area in back of the TV since Katie thought that might be a great place to hide...with all the electrical plugs. LOL Usually these types of storms pass quickly but not this one. It hung around for over an hour. It's quiet now thank goodness and I hope it stays that way for several days.

I can understand why it must be frightening for them, Gary. It's not something they see or hear often ....especially the fireworks.

Well, we have a gorgeous day today, Phyl so I hope we're establishing a new weather pattern. We certainly don't need anymore rain. LOL
