doctor was very happy with my progress, glad we waited an additional week to take off the big cast. i am now in the half cast for three weeks but it is the kind i can swim in. i had to pay extra but figured if it gets hot, i'll be able to cool off.
and still bright pink.

unfortunately, the two bones the high cast kept from moving are moving now and hurt so i am to work with it like i did my fingers and thumb.

awww, i love you guys!

ayla has gotten used to sleeping in her bed. guess i moved around too much. she will jump up in the morning.

my husband can't wait until i come back to the bed. he misses ayla.

Dee, I tried to get Katie to sleep in my bed when she was younger but she didn't want to sleep there either. LOL I think I must have moved around too much also. She now starts off in her bed, then moves to the quilt I've thrown off because it's usually too warm for me to use. Then again, sometimes I find her on the hardwood floor in the morning...where it's probably cooler.

ayla likes sleeping in the big bed. i felt so bad the night i found her sitting at the base of the stairs looking up. i'd let her go up with my husband but she wouldn't stay there if i didn't. my husband was the one who kept putting her in the bed in the first place.
